To me these Omega Cosmics are one of the most beautyful moonphase watches ever made, stunningly elegant and classic. Ref OT 3944 was made in the early 50's a features a very distinctive and classy 14K case in perfect proportions (33x44mm). Dials on these proved quite delicate and 90% of these have redone dials! This example however is completely original and has a lovely vintage patina with applied gold indexes and date discs in English. Movement is Omega's Cal 381 which is in good working condition. It even comes with it's beautiful original Omega box. Attached is a high quality period style strap. They don't make watches like this anymore... except for a re-edition... but nothing beats the original!
