Eventhough Rolex made quite some watches, it's still very hard to vind an untouched vintage example... But this rare TRU-DATE from 1955 is quite the barnfind. It's mint throughout with a very fat & sharp case which I presume is unpolised. It bears ref 6530 and measures slightly over 34mm excl crown. The original dial is simply fantastic and very rare for various reasons! First it's a Tue-Date of which only few are known to exist! Second it has the beautiful 'shark teeth' indexes. Third, the original radium lume is beautiful and one can see the watch was laying still for many years as it has a cool radium burn from the hands. It furthermore has the desirable original blue & red routette date disc. The super clean 1030 automatic movement has just been fully serviced and is running strong. It also still retains it's original stretch Oyster bracelet from 1955 is really mint condition (quite valuable on it's own). The period Rolex box also came with it. Really fantastic vintage Date which puts a smile on your face everytime you check the time...
