Ultra rare Longines Observatory Chronometre from 1945 with Extract. Longines made several Chronometer movements in during the 40/50's to compete against other manufacturers to produce the most accurate movement. Nearly all were made for competition and not for sales purposes. This rare early example with Caliber 12.68Z was indeed tested and received a 'Bulletin de Marche' (see Extract info). It comes in it's original wooden protection box. It is completely original with a perfect dial and minty movement. If you're into Chronometers this one cannot be passed.
