Impressive! That's the only word to describe this wonderfully big Eterna Calatrava. It dates from the mid 30's and is the very, very rare all STEEL version! These are mostly seen with chrome cases and radium dials which were the cheaper military variants... Time has changed the original dial into a lovely brown tropic color which is even warmer in the sunlight. The calatrava case measures a whopping 41mm without the original crown, despite the size it still wears perfectly. Movement is Eterna's own workhorse which was serviced and functioning perfectly. This watch will surely bring a smile on your face every time you wear it!
