Stunning and super rare Universal Geneve Calatrava from the end 30's. The original black dial with gold square indexes is one of the rarest designs you'll ever find... Bauhaus style; less is more! The 18K Calatrava coin edge case measures 32mm excl. crown which is a very fair size, certainly compared to for instance a Patek 96 (only that would be priceless with such a dial). Movement is UG signed Cal 255 which is in excellent running order. Attached is a beautiful period style nubuck strap. A must for the serious (UG) collector!
