This is a Longines I had not seen before... a super rare Flying Saucer from 1938. The steel 32,5mm case has it's lugs hidden under the case hence the name... The original dial is a rare black simple, elegant version with enlarged gilt numerals. Movement is Cal. 10.40 which has just been serviced. It comes with an Extract of the Archives stating it was sold in Poland at the end of 1938. On the back there is a lovely inscription from 1939. Very fascinating watch and great piece of Longines history!
