Movado is one of my favourite brands as they made some of the most beautiful and high quality watches from approx. 1915 through the 60's. This example is something special; a Calatrava with coin-edge bezel from the 40's made for Hausmann & Co. It's extremely elegant due to the beautiful original two-tone dial with gold hour markers and stunning hands. The 18K case measures 32mm excl crown (larger than period Patek's). The Movado movement Cal. 75 has just been serviced. Attached is a period style strap with buckle. A truly stunning time-only watch!
