Increasingly rare Longines 13ZN Flyback chrono with ref 5415 also known as the 'Doppio Linguetta'. These watches are so fascinating... as most of you know the 13ZN movement is one of the, or even the best chrono movement ever made! This in combination with a large waterproof case makes it highly desirable. This example has a perfect 37,5mm steel case with high pressure snap-back case with two 'ears'... The watch is 100% original in every way and even this dial has been confirmed by the factory where it received a full checkup in order to obtain the large Certificate of Origin and Authenticity. It was sold in 1946 to Mexico. The original dial has faded into a beautiful cream tone and is very elegant in it's simplicity (and looks even better in real life). The movement has been serviced and is in perfect condition. Attached is a high quality Menicucci strap matching the dial and also comes with an extra strap with period Longines buckle.
