Rare Big Longines Cal 15 Chrono in steel from 1935
Caliber 15 is probably Longines rarest Chronograph movement... made for a short time before the 13ZN. This untouched example is even rarer since it's in steel and measures nearly 38mm excl. the beautiful original crown. It was made in 1935 and sold to Italy where it remained in the same family for all these years. The stunning crisp original enamel dial (ZJ) gives the watch a vintage but also fresh apprearance. Together with the blued Breguet hands it really stands out... The steel case is very elegant as both the bezel and caseback have the same concave edge. The Longines Cal 15 (based on a VJ22) is in great condition as it was just serviced. Attached is a period steel expandro bracelet complementing this extraordinary watch.
