This is a true gem which only few collectors know of... it's extremely rare and similar to the Patek 1485. It's so special because it has a square 'waterproof' Taubert (FB) case! It was made around 1940 and of extremely high quality. Next to this it's all original with a stunning simple, elegant Art-Deco style dial. The steel case measures 27x27mm excl crown. It has 3 sliding strips which connect the 2 case parts and compress 2 gaskets making it 'waterproof'. It even has a special dustcover to protect the Cal 370 Movado movement. Attached is a lovely period steel bracelet. Rare, beautiful and for a fraction of the price of a comparable Patek Philippe!
