Movado made extremely beautiful and high quality timepieces in their early years... this is one of them! A 1915 Tonneau shaped Chronometre in 18K gold. It features an unusual original dial with Roman numerals and the 12 in red. The blued hands are beautifully shaped and typical for the period. The case seems to be pink gold as it has this warm glow and is quite large for the period and is both Tonneau and 'banana' shaped (bent case to follow the wrist). It measures 28x38mm (excl. lugs) and is fully signed. It can be worn by both men and woman. Movement is the high quality Movado cal 530 with 15 jewels which is still in perfect condition. Attached is a Hermes style leather band. Truly rare piece of Movado history in amazing condition for a 107 year old wristwatch!
