I've never seen such a BIG Calendomatic.... this rare stunner measures 38MM excl. crown! It's super rare, but above all super nice and from 1947. The tyical high quality Movado case in 18K yellow gold has various steps on the case side and beautiful lugs, it seems unpolished and has the typical gold oxidation marks confirming this. The caseback bears reference 6203 and has a lovely inscription from South-America. The original dial has aged very nicely in the past 75 years. It's got red/black printing with applied gold indexes and hands. The high quality Movado movement is Cal. 225 hammer-automatic and is working perfectly. It's one of the first automatic triple date movements! Attached is a period style nubuck strap and the watch also comes with it's original vintage Movado box. Truly rare piece which is very impressive on the wrist and shows it's vintage heritage.
