I'm happy to be able to offer this sublime Movado 90M Chrono with very rare 18K step case retailed by Mappin & Webb. This is such an elegant and classy chrono, made at the end of the 1940's. It has a very desirable original dial, signed Mappin & Webb. They were among the oldest Britisch jewelers with a history of 240 years and they still exist! The dial has aged nicely and features radium numerals and hands, outer scale and a snail scale. The stunning 18K triple step case is very rare and measures 34,5mm excl. crown and seems unpolished. It bears a nice engraving; P.C. The Movado 90M movement is very clean and has been serviced, working perfectly. Attached is a dark-brown suede strap from the period. It also comes with the original Mappin & Webb box, very rare to find together with the dial signature.
