Pontiac actually originates from Belgium and not the USA as the name might suggest. They made wonderful watches which were manufactured in Switzerland. This example is rather special... not only because of the mint condition and tropical dial but it was probably a prize for a cycling tour. The dial reads: Maillot Arc - en - Ciel which translates into the rainbow sweater. It is all original and truly stunning; brown with gilt print and radium numerals. It features a lovely engraved Spillmann waterproof case (35mm excl. crown) and houses a very clean Landeron 149 movement. Attached is a period style chocolate nubuck strap. Really nice watch for a modest price!
