From my personal collection I'm selling this extremely rare Longines Tank watch with large waterproof case. This is the rarest, largest, most saught after and only 'waterproof' Longines tank watch! It was sold in 1943 to Egypt and features a lovely aged original radium dial. The climate, age and radium have turned the dial into a gold tone with lovely aged hands and radium numerals. The special 'waterproof' case with ref 4808 measures a large 23,6 x 43,3mm and is slightly curved. It also seems unpolisched and untouched! The movement is Cal. 25.17 and is working perfectly after a service. Attached is a lovely croco strap with Longines buckle, matching the dial color.
